Our standard stoves are built using 304-grade stainless steel and we also offer upgrades to 316-grade stainless steel, which boast improved composition and are a must if chemicals are to be added to the water.
Yes. You can use stain, or products such as linseed oil to treat the exterior for the tub against the weather and moisture.
Do not be tempted to burn anything other than wood, and it is really important you only ever use dry wood. This will give you the best results, is far more efficient and better for the environment. Never use other solid fuels or wood that is wet.
It is quite likely you will experience some leakage from a brand new tub. Given time the water will cause the wood to expand and this will close all the joints resulting in a watertight finish. Spruce can take 3-5days to swell up and seal up and larch can take over a week. It is recommended to start filling up the tub with water when your delivery arrives to avoid shrinkage (especially in summer).
Not at all. Unless you really neglect your tub it will last for years with minimal effort. Wood naturally releases a gentle antiseptic that will help to protect your product.
Keeping your hot tub clean is very easy. Natural cleaning products are recommended. First add a mild disinfectant to the hot tub and leave it for up to an hour. Begin to drain the water from the tub. While the tub is wet scrub it using a sponge or a soft bristled brush. Always make sure you rinse the hot tub thoroughly before refilling.

Manufactured to the highest standards, our wood-fired stoves are built to heat your tub quickly, letting you enjoy your oasis whenever you desire, with minimal running costs.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Firing the stove is a breeze. We’ve perfected the process so it’s not only easy light and control, but a part of the experience.
Follow the simple steps provided to light the stove and start warming your tub.
Use the stove’s simple airflow control to regulate the burn. and leave your tub to heat. The warm water will naturally rise from the stove to the bathing area.
Once your tub is up to temperature (around 39C) throttle back your stove and slip into your peaceful retreat.

All Royal Tubs Stoves are manufactured from high grade and efficiency stainless steel, selected for its efficient heat transfer, strength and longevity.

HEATER TYPES
The external stove stands apart from your tub, taking up no room within the bathing area and offering complete freedom to put your tub wherever it fits!
Cleaning, lighting and reloading the fire is simple, with full access available to the chamber.
Air flow is regulated using vents on the loading door. The side-channel on the right ensures that air can reach the core of the fire to increase its intensity.
Gravitation allows warm water within the stove to naturally rise into the bathing area, allowing heat to be distributed without pumps or valves. The ashpan is easily accessible from the front of the unit, making maintenance a breeze.

Electric Heaters let you keep your tub up to temperature, so you can slip in at a moment’s notice.
We can fit your tub with an electric heater alongside, or in place of a wood-fired heater so you can enjoy the best of both worlds.
